F. A. Q. What is the neurology? The diagnosis and non-surgical care of disorders of the brain,
spinal cord, nerves, including stroke/hemi paresis, headache/migraine,
seizures/epilepsy, peripheral neuropathy etc. What can Neurologist do for you? Neurologist will get enough history, perform throrough neurological examination, order proper tests, i.e.: MRI, CT or EEG as you needed. Make right diagnosis for you and start treatment as soon as possible. What is Acupuncture? Oriental medicine is the oldest, professional, continually practiced
medicine in the world. This medical system's written
literature stretches back almost 3,000 years and archeological evidence of acupuncture extends back as far as 4,000
years ago. Oriental medicine works by reestablishing, building and
balancing the body's life force energy known as "Qi" (Pronounce 'chi') which runs along the body's energy pathway or
meridians. The acupuncture meridians are like the river
and streams that transverse the countryside with definite purpose and
direction. The acupuncture points themselves
are actual portals linking the physical body to the more subtle, luminous, energetic fields, Traditional Chinese
Medicine views disease as the result of an imbalance or blockage of
body's natural energy flow, such imbalances may manifest in physical, emotional and stress related disorders, often
presenting with vague states of exhaustion and How is Acupuncture working for you? Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medical technique for unblocking chi (chi or qi) by inserting needles at particular points on the body to balance the opposing forces of yin yang. Chi is an energy that allegedly permeates all things. It is believed to flow through the body along 14 main pathways called meridians. When yin and yang are in harmony, chi flows freely within the body and person is healthy. When a person is sick, diseased, or injured, there is an obstruction of chi along one of the meridians. Traditional Chinese medicine has identified some 500 specific points where needles are to be inserted for specific effects. Oriental Neurology & Acupuncture Center, All Rights Reserved
